Introducing "What's Up Fairfield?" Good things, when remembered, are twice as good What's Up Fairfield (WUF) is an LLC located in Fairfield Connecticut. In addition to maintaining WUF, we do web site creation, technical support.... and a little hardware trouble shooting/repair when it relates to our services. We have spanned the gamut from providing year 2000 coding (for some "Big Boys") and complex XHTML web sites to HTML “quick and dirty” programming for local friends. Originally initiated by a Fairfield Mom, What’s Up Fairfield grew out of frustration “having the recycling gone ---- including the local paper”. Initially just hand written notes of upcoming events, morphed into an electronic word document and then grew into the web site www.WhatsUpFairfield.com. Initially the WUF site was designed to resemble an old fashioned New England Bulletin Board where anyone would feel comfortable to "put up their notice" and "stand on their soap box". However as our readership grew we realized a more structured layout was needed. In October of 2006 this new format was released. We still encourage your participation in this site. Send us your thoughts or articles to post. WUF remains committed to supporting our community’s charitable organizations, making residents aware of local politics and.... remembering what a wonderful community and life we have. While we have had serious corporate jobs we are determined to add a bit of humor into our local work ... hence Old Dog Development and WUF. You will find an ad for Old Dog Development on our web site. For now we are sticking to the "bulletin board" concept with readers and interested people sending us postings. As you can see we have already generated considerable interest as an alternative way to "spread good news". WUF monitors our web traffic and advertising rates are commensurate with these statistics.
