Visit the Bush-Holley House for tours of the historic landmark dressed to the nines for the holidays.
The Bush–Holley House is a National Historic Landmark and museum right in Cos Cob within Greenwich (near the Cos Cob train station and Cos Cob Park). It was constructed circa 1730 and in the late nineteenth century was a boarding house and the center of the Cos Cob Art Colony. Lymans Orchard is an awesome upstate daycation from Fairfield County. In the fall enjoy pumpkin picking, golf, Halloween events, and an iconic corn maze - but come winter they keep the activities rolling.

Jones Family Farm
A 400 acre farm featuring a winery and farm-to-table restaurant. Visit the Jones Family Farm for all your holiday needs such as gifting, wines for celebrating, and picking up your Christmas tree.
The Harvest Kitchen Cooking Studio features farm-style cooking classes and food-wine pairing classes. The Jones Family Farm has been harvesting trees for 73 years however, unique to this year there are new protocols.

Allen Hill Farm
Allen Hill Farm is another great location to pick up your Christmas tree with beautiful grounds, tractor rides and a beautiful New England Barn. This site is a great one if you're looking to take family holiday pictures with an classic Connecticut look and feel.
A national historic landmark right in Norwalk, the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion features events, exhibits and an impeccable grounds all perfect for the holidays. Book your guided tour (offered daily) for $10 to enjoy beautifully-decorated rooms, architecture and the spirit of Christmas. The grounds are great for walking and right near Stepping Stones Museum a great spot to visit for kids.
Florence Griswold's Museum: Magic of Christmas
The Florence Griswold Museum focuses on art, history, and nature across an impressive campus that includes: the Krieble Gallery, the Florence Griswold House and gardens across its grounds. But, come the holidays, the magic of Christmas is all over - with painting classes on Sundays, Scavenger Hunts, Christmas time Teas and more. Once you've exhausted all their exhibits and activities - dine at the on-site cafe. If you visit during the holidays, consider bringing a non-perishable food donation to be shared with the local food bank.
When it comes to sharks, turtles and sea creatives the Maritime Aquarium brings it! But, did you know you can also check out IMAX movies, take public cruises and enjoy seasonal exhibits? All December through MLK Jr. weekend enjoy spectacular films including The Polar Express. Additionally, Santa is visiting kids via scuba dives - sure to delight kids for epic pictures and smiles.
Greenwich Reindeer Festival
A town tradition from December 1-December 24, The 12th Annual Greenwich Reindeer Festival will feature Santa's three Reindeer this year, Dasher, Dancer and Vixen. Santa will be staying at the North Pole this year for the health and safety of all of the children and their families. So visit the Reindeer and enjoy beautiful Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses.
